Seminars
For those of you who just can’t wait for us to finish the rest of the DVD set, we have live seminars available that can be custom tailored to your audience. All you have to do is gather a group of people in need of training and TackyShirt will handle the rest.

The material used in the seminar will be the same material we’re packing into the DVD with the exception of current events. A live seminar has the advantage of including material that’s current up to the day of the lesson. Once the DVD comes out, it’s out. We’ll be releasing regular updates to reflect the changing state of the software but there may be several months between releases and the Mac OS X landscape changes daily. A live lesson with one of our teachers is the only way to make sure you’re receiving all of the current information.

The format of the seminars is not a lesson/exercise format. We feel that in that format, the students spend more time worrying about the exercise than actually working with the concepts. So in a "hands -on" environment, the students would be able to play with the concepts being discussed in the way they feel most comfortable. The seminars are constructed in such a way that even if no equipment is provided at the site, the audience will still take away a lot that they can use in the real world. A perfect computer lab is not by any means required.

While our initial seminars focus on Mac OS X training, we are obviously willing to customize a seminar for a client, without using that as an excuse to vacuum the client's bank account dry. Even within the Mac OS X training, if you give us an idea of what your audience requires, we can tailor the seminar to your needs.

Pricing for seminars is based on the number of people you can provide for the show. On average, pricing falls at about $150-200/person/day. Please contact us if you’re looking to hold a seminar. seminars@tackyshirt.com
